A fair bit of news for August, firstly our talks with a UK based company to manufacture and sell white metal TQD miniatures has been successful, this means c-p models web site has now become a painting service only web site. If you wish to order TQD castings minis, please follow the links provided. The C-P Models range is now unavailable to buy unpainted, we will be considering licensing this range later in the year.

The WWII British Airborne range is now ready to order painted from us, and will be available to buy unpainted from our new licensee very soon. We have two new mini's added to set T-85, making this a 4 mini set. Quite a few new set's in the pipeline: more Polish Home Army, a 1944 Joachim Peiper command set for the Ardennes offensive and a set of IDF!

We are going to commission WWII personality mini's and a new range of fantasy/pulp type miniatures too!!

Again, thank you to all the people that have supported us throughout this change.

Sorry for the delay in up-dating the web site, we were waiting for the Warsaw group build mini's to be painted and photographed before up-dating. The new set's TQD 84 to 91 depicting the Waffen SS and Polish Home Army during the battle for Warsaw 1944 is now available to order painted only.

Secondly, I'd like to thank everyone who has participated in our last group build, Normandy to Arnhem 1944. Lot's of very interesting ideas contained within!

Happy New Year to all our customers, what's new for 2008: Well set's TQD78-82 have been released and are available ready painted, contact us directly for quote ect.

It's been a year since C-P Models began offering its miniature set's painted only and since then we have been able to expand our ranges. This has only been possible due to the support of our customers, so we'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you, you're all great guys.

Also some good news for those who enjoy painting their own miniatures, set's TQD 68/69 the colonial British infantry can now be purchased unpainted from us!

The US airborne sets are now available unpainted again, sorry, but there's been a price increase again, reflecting the high price of alloy. We apologise, but this increase means we may be able to sell unpainted miniatures again!

Check back to us regularly for up-dates, 'new' news and photos.

Newsletter November 2007

Seasons greetings to all our customers and browsers, the site has again been up-dated with new product info and photo's, new miniature set's include WWII Hitler Youth, Soviet partisans and German security forces.

It's been a year since C-P Models began offering its miniature set's painted only and since then we have been able to expand our ranges. This has only been possible due to the support of our customers, so we'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you, you're all great guys.

Suggestion of the month&&.Steve, it's yours&&.painted Hiwi-Cossack, with lot's of blood on his sword&&.!

Newsletter October 2007

Apologies for the non appearance of an up-date last month, we were completely snowed under and this was one job that was put aside for later.

More new products added to the site. Two new set's of 1943-45 Red Army Infantry, (ten miniatures) and four new products listed for release in October 2007, (1879 British infantry and 1945 Hitler Youth, again ten miniatures).

Six sets have been changed from available as metal, to available painted only; please refer to the site product menu for more information.

If you wish to order painted set's for Christmas, please ensure your order is placed this month to have any chance of being completed in time!

Thanks again to all the people who help C-P Models be what it is, you're all good people.

Newsletter July 2007

Couple of new things this month, we delayed our annual price rise for a couple of months, but finally we have had to bow to the inevitable and raise the price of our non-painted sets.

C-P Models has had to make a few tough decisions in the last six months, one of these was to stop supplying our stockists with any C-P Models products and now our products can only be bought direct from us and no third parties. We'd like to take this opportunity to say thanks to the guys who supported our brand and wish them every success in their businesses.

New last month was the successful launch of our WWII US Army infantry & SAS Commando sets, coming next are more additions to our WWII British Army range, more details can be found on the 2.0 site.

Newsletter May 2007

Spring is about to leave us and once again we have some new releases to reveal! Coming soon are two new sets of US Army Infantry 'Yellow Legs' and Two new sets of British Army Commando's, suitable for the Jedborough missions and the Italian/Balkan campaign. These are available Ready Painted Only.

The New WWII British Infantry will be a 'tad' late, AB's emigration has up-set our time tables as you'd expect, but the delay will be short!

We get many requests for the old C-P Models ranges, but we must make it clear that these are only available ready painted on request and cannot be sold unpainted, sorry.

Thank you again to all the guys who help us along, thanks to Chas for the book 'Teutonic Knights and their battles' I get the hint... and a special thanks to Dave for pushing the boundaries and raising the bar again.

Newsletter February 2007

OK we're still in the midst of winter, but C-P Models hasn't slowed down, waiting for spring to break! New releases so far include new WWII Battle for Berlin sets, a British Commando attacking a German sentry and two Soviet airborne sets, (all available ready painted).

Our in house painting service, Miniature Armies is up and running to paint your neglected minis, (we paint any manufacturers minis by the way), you can see the finished work on the 2.0 supporting site.

Please note, the proposed dime fiction range will not now go ahead, this decision has been taken so that we can concentrate on other more interesting projects!

Unfortunately Milicast is no longer stocking C-P Models products, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank Tom and wish him well for the future.

In the pipeline for this coming month: We start designing the first ACW sets, we have WWII 1944 US Army Infantry, (yellow legs) being sculpted and will probably release some new 'elite' German infantry too. So a busy period ahead!

C-P Models has streamlined, changed its business model and is now ready to meet the challenges facing the business. These changes will enable us to release more highly detailed miniatures covering many different periods allowing you to enhance your collections!

Our stockists at present do not stock ready painted sets; this may change, but only if there is a demand for them in the USA and Australia, so if your interested in 'battle ready sets' because your 'time poor' or dislike painting, contact them!?

Lastly, APO is no barrier to owning the new miniatures, we offer two levels of painting, choosing wargame standard and not collectors standard at a lower rate will still allow you to 'enhance' the miniatures yourselves, to your own preferred style!

Again, thanks for all the support, big thanks for Kelam and Tony for all they have done and will be doing over the coming year.

Newsletter December 2006 / January 2007

Season's greetings to everyone, looking back, a quick glance over 2006, I'd say it's been the toughest trading year I have seen in 15 years, I know that removing c-p models figure sets has been a surprise for some people, but it truly has been the only way to keep the business from 'leaving the stage!' Thanks to everyone who has supported the changes and continue to support us for 2007.

We have begun to offer a painting service after a 6 year break; Miniature Armies is back in business and taking your orders! There will usually be pre-painted sets to view on the discussion group pages, if you're looking to enhance your collection.

There will be many new releases for 2007, but most will be pre-painted and unavailable to purchase unpainted. The design commission's service is still available, so if you have an idea for new miniatures, why not contact us and see if we can make your dreams come true?

Again, cheers to all our supporters and we wish everyone a great holiday and a happy New Year!

Newsletter October 2006

There have been some big changes at C-P models over the last few weeks. The entire C-P Models catalogue has now been withdrawn. It had become apparent to us over the last year that many moulds were wearing out and would need replacing; we have a busy new releases schedule to keep to and not enough funds to do both.

We decided on a new business strategy, we would offer the c-p models range as painted miniatures only, (visit the c-p models forum for more details) and we would invest in new product for TQD castings and our other projects.

All you have to do is contact us if you wish to add painted c-p models to your collection and we will supply the necessary details?

We and our team of experienced painters will also make available sets of mini's from both ranges and mix and match figs from different c-p models sets.

Other than that things carry on as normal, new this month is the Neu Heer x-7 missile team. There is a new 20mm scale forum for fans of the scale, which can be found at: http://xsorbit32.com/users5/showcase20/index.php

Thanks to everyone who has helped us develop C-P models over the last four years and whose invaluable advice has kept us developing TQD Castings.

Newsletter September 2006

Hi everyone, summer is getting behind us and the various 1946 projects are all well in hand. Coming soon are the two new sets of US Airborne infantry and the next 1946 Neu-Heer x-7 missile team set and the first NachtjagdKommando patrol! German zombies for 1946 are on there way!!

As part of Chris and my attempts to simplify the web site, we have removed the C-P Models listings for short while, I'll keep you up-dated on this process.

I'd like to welcome aboard the C-P Models family Mathew Coombes of Battlescape who is based in Australia, (details on the index page). So collectors of C-P Models products 'down under' now have a stockist closer to home!

Sorry their isn't many new photo's added to the site this month, the models are being painted, so in due course they'll start winging their way to me, so I can show them to you!!

A few new articles added to the web site, including a WWII article on the last German Army panzer division. Also of some interest, the background article to our third 46 project, (they always come in threes eh) Zeitmeister, time travelling nihilist ex-SS soldiers... Also try and pick up issue no 228 of wargames Illustrated, it has a great 46 article by Pete Sizer!

Big thanks to everyone who supports C-P Models through these changing times.

Newsletter August 2006

August, the holiday month for most, but not at C-P Models! Sets preparing for release are the second exciting two Epoch of the dead sets, Yobethus and Ron-arrant warriors, have a look at the work in progress page for more pics of our future fantasy concepts.

On the historical front, we have released our two new sets of WWII Soviet airborne infantry, in my opinion, one of the most exciting miniature releases in the last five years, these new figures allow the eastern front gamer the chance to wargame some of the most courageous actions of the war performed by this innovative branch of the Red Army.

Also new this month is two new sets of WWII US Airborne infantry, adding some more support weapons to the collection, including a browning gunner! Work on the 1946 Neu-Heer continues, the x-7 missile team has been completed and I have begun work on the NachtjagdKommando set too!

The following ranges have now been retired from the c-p models listings guys, the WAFFEN SS BATTALION 'DEBICA', NEMBO' IND. PARACHUTE Bn 1943-45 and 1943-45 RSI ALPINI INFANTRY, basically the moulds are old and it does not make economic sense to have the figs re-moulded. So if you thought it was always quiet in August.... think again guys! Cheers to Chris aka pantherfish for all his support and thanks for everyone's patience over my phone company's persistence attempts to send me to the communications gulag!

Best suggestion last month.... hmmmmm, has to be werewolf Hitler Youth miniatures for epoch of the dead from Danny Peacock, cheers Dan!

Newsletter July 2006

Hi all, this month sees the release of a few more WWII sets, TQD 37 1944/45 Waffen SS infantry, (five figs), TQD 38 1944-45 Wehrmacht Heer set inc. two Feldgendarme and soon I'll release TQD39 a 1942-45 med theatre FJ set with a Jager pulling a drop container. All contain five figures except TQD39.

Also now on sale is the two new Soviet airborne sets with 10 figures split between TQD30 and TQD36 to compliment the TQD16 set, definitely a great new addition to the WWII genre.

I have begun work on the epoch of the dead miniatures, finally! You'll be able to see details of this new concept on the web site with some work in progress photos.

Also new this month are three new sets of 1946 Neu-Heer infantry. That's 15 figures in all allowing you to greatly flesh out those tabletop Neu Heer units.

Hopefully by the time this is published I would have had the first releases of the marked for destruction game markers out on sale. These will offer the gamer some easy on table record keeping ability and in the case of ammo markers, allow the creation of places to re-supply your units during a game?

For all the fantasy/counter-factual WWII stuff c-p models is releasing, we'll still be releasing 'normal' WWII based products, so don't worry on that score, but it won't hurt to expand the scope of the company and broaden its appeal. All I want to do is make wargaming fun for the hobbyist, and the more variety I offer, the better for the customer!

I'd like to thank Matt Hingely and Rob Rowell for all the support they have given me during this critical phase of c-p models 'history', (plus of course a myriad of other great guys in the hobby) they have boosted my confidence and reminded me why I started c-p models in the first place! Cheers guys!!

Ideas have been thin on the ground this month, so I'd like to thank the two Chris's who post on the forum for all the great 46 ideas they have discussed and contributed to, cheers guys.

Newsletter May 2006

Coming up to the end of May, things are getting back to normal after the move and the following sets have been released or will be released very soon. A set of 1944-45Waffen SS, five new 1944-45 Wehrmacht figures, the 1946 SpeerKorp set, a set of new Fallschirmjager med inf are on the near horizon as well as a new set of 1946 Neu-Heer Grenadiers, (inc a grenadier firing a Beretta SMG)!

The new range of battlefield markers will debut early next month which includes a gas attack marker! Couple of 1946 articles added to the site, once again, thanks Pete Sizer, a damn good scenario!

The Flipside alternative WWII web site has launched, small beginnings, but it'll grow over time, all alternative WWII contributions welcome. Remember, all counter historic genre's will be linked or mentioned, and some of these will have an adult content. Later in the year, I may put on a separate room for the WWII Porno genre, but I haven't made my mind up about that just yet!

Thanks to everyone that makes time to visit the cp models manufacturer forum, remember we allow postings of your figures, (whatever the origin). Due to pressure from users Karma's have been introduced for members to reward each others work, so if you like something, let the poster know!

I'm sure I have forgotten something...oh yeah, outstanding suggestion of the month comes from Ricardo..... 20mm Epoch of the Dead figures... yeah why not!

Newsletter April 2006

Hi everyone who visits the site, as you'd know I have been a bit quiet last month. The reason being, I moved flat again, (a five yearly event looking through my diaries)! So C-P Models has now moved to No 3 Pioneer Close, Broomfield Street, London E14 6BF England. And for those who wish to talk to me, I can be contacted at: 02075372611.

Due to the incompetence of BT, (my telephone company) I have not had any phone or internet access either over the last few weeks, so if you have ordered by paypal, I won't have picked them up, please bear with me, I will get to them in due course, if you feel your order is a little overdue, please don't complain to paypal, give me a call instead!

So what's new then? Well, we'll soon be releasing the 1946 SpeerKorp set of five armed pioneers, a set of five WWII 1945 Waffen SS infantry and a new set of 1944-45 WWII Wehrmacht, just cause I have been quiet, don't mean I've been on holiday and nor has Tony!

There is a new article on the web site too, check out the articles section to find out more. Congrats to Matt Hingely for starting his 1/72 scale WWII miniature company, breathing more life in to the hobby eh!

So give me a couple of weeks and I should be back on top of things, sorry for the recent delays guys, but this has been an easy move, but the communications bit has been a nightmare! Catch ya next month when things have returned to normal, (!)

This month see the release of the long awaited 28mm scale set of Apocalypse Storm troops for the epoch of the dead concept, four miniatures for a measly £5.00p!

It's going to be a busy year at C-P Models! And you'll be glad to read that the C-P Models range of furniture 'movable objects are now once again available to buy! Including the set of dustbins!

A customer's gallery has been added to the TQD side of the site, you'll see some really excellent examples of Daryl Grant's and Matt Hingely's painted work there, guys who really show what potential 1/72 scale has!

The Forum is going great guns, its good to see new members join and it helps keep our customers up to date with new releases ect&&.Its there to be used and abused, so feel free to use and abuse!

Lastly, suggestion of the month: Duane wants Nazi zombies, in this market Duane, anything, I mean anything is possible! See you next month.

Newsletter November 2005

I write this on a foggy London morning in the dying weeks of November, yes the up-date is 'slightly' late again, but forgive me, its better to wait for something to write about, than write about nothing!

News: Sets TQD14 and 15 have been delayed, the head swaps and minor changes needed to them is taking more time than anticipated, but rest assured the job is in hand!

Coming next month: TQD 17 & 18 two new sets, (10 minis) of highly detailed advancing early/mid war summer period WWII German Infantry, perfect to represent infantry on patrol of advancing across the Russian steppe!

TQD19 & 20 is two new sets of ten miniatures depicting late war WWII German infantry, suitable for the Battle for Breslau, Berlin and the battle for the Ruhr basin during 1945.

A new listing has been published on the TQD CASTINGS side of the site. This should make finding what you need easier, now that it has been divided in to nationalities? As you will see, there are a whole bunch of WWII US paratroopers on the way and a set of desert/med British inf coming soon, bit by bit were throwing off our one trick pony tag eh?

New articles published this month, (big thanks to Pete Sizer for his contributions), Dougies Dingoes part II, Jager in the Breach, (see it does exist), Operation Einsvogel and last but not least the fall of the Keltsono redoubt, (all 1946 storm of eagles articles 'cept' jäger in the breach which is a WWII article).

The most off the wall suggestion for a mini this month has to go to Simon's idea for a 'gimp' SS officer, who bore a similarity to the SS man in Hellboy&&unfortunately this won't go ahead because of contractual difficulties, but its was a cracking idea!

Thanks to everyone who has made the forum come alive, thanks for the support too we've received over this recent piracy issue too. You're all superstars!

Newsletter September 2005

The autumn is once again upon us and once again the C-P Models web site has been up-dated with a few new bits and pieces!

Firstly Chris has up-loaded a few more 1946 Storm of Eagles© scenario's, including 'Hunters of Destruction', a Han's Volker nachtjager sniper/commando battle, 'The Devils Cauldron' a scenario based on the exploits of Waffengruppe 'Blutordern' an anti-partisan penal unit of the Neu-Heer and three new '46'scenarios from Pete Sizer, 'Dougies Dingo's, 'Hetzer to the Front!' and 'Vorwarts Pz- WerkstattKompanie!' These are of course available as free pdf downloads from the C-P Models side of the web site, continuing our expansion of the 1946 Storm of Eagles© project.

Figure releases have been slower than anticipated but by the end of this month the sets TQD 012 and 13, (the WWII Mediterranean Fallschirmjager infantry), TQD014 and 015 (two sets of five marching WWII 1936-42 German infantry in greatcoats) and TQD 016 WWII Soviet Partisan command set should be available to buy. I'll get photos linked on the site as soon as possible.

We are working on some new projects for the 1/72 scale 1946 Storm of Eagles© German infantry, support sets to compliment the successful infantry sets commissioned by Barry Marriot.

Now you guys know I won't 'gild the lily', Its bad news for 28mm fans, we have slowed down our 28mm projects for now, sales have been virtually non-existent in this larger scale and news from the scale generally are not encouraging, we do intent to release a set of Epoch of the Dead shock troops and a couple of other fantasy sets, but that is all for now until the scale picks up again?

So if you're interested in seeing 20mmscale epoch of the dead figures, let us know via the forum at www.xsorbit29.com and see if there is any support for the idea.

Firstly, if you're interested in painting for C-P Models, drop us a line with your details and some piccies so we can see if your style fits in with what we already use?

ll next month everyone, big cheers to Pete for his articles.

Newsletter August 2005

August...the month of pissing rain and boiling hot sun is up-on us again....and what's new at C-P Models...well........while most other companies in this hobby lie fallow during August we have kept ourselves 'chained' to the workbench, (oi! stop sniggering over there) and here's what we've come up with: Thank's to Mick Delany we will soon release two five-fig sets of Mediterean theatre German Fallschirmjager in 1/72 scale, (TQD12 and 13) and you'll be pleased to know that by spending 12 hours a day for six days begging outside Liverpool street station I have managed to raise the funds to put the 1/72 scale winter german infantry in to production moulds....soooo expect them on sale the first week of sept 2005!

What else, what else, (beating them back with a cricket bat)? Well the Yahoo groups site has been shut down and replaced with a sexier more easily accessible, (bit like me, the old tart) Forum for you guys to express yourself....not just about C-P Models....that would be far too restrictive eh? So join, (its easy) and have a rant'n'rave with me......?

Coming down the drain pipe, (memories of a miss-spent youth).....is a set of 1944 Soviet partisans funded again by that hero of the 20mm 'world' our Barry in Oz...i'm sooo impressed by this set, I'm going to add some more partisans to 'flesh' out the concept, no release date as yet...but piccies when available? The design service is proving a big hit at the moment, big thanks to everyone who is commission sets of mini's, your all stars!

The long awaited, (stop yawning) 1946 Storm of Eagles(c) epic is now available as a free pdf download on the TQD castings site for you guys to print and read in the loo, (WC) I'll really appreciate your thoughts on 1946 wargaming on the new forum, so please read and post your ideas back at me?

More, more you cry...Nah! bugger off...and annoy the other 20mm companies.....oh alright...I have decided to start adding scenarios and articles to the site, in time I'll happily put your musings up too if you write something either out of the ordinary or C-P Models related, (you'll find them on the C-P side of the site)..........now that's really all your getting.... for now! (I dunno, no p+p for the Euro zone, free articles, free rule sets and a free alternative WWII story.....blimey I'll be giving away free kisses next).....?

Big hugs and wet kisses to everyone who helps this 'sharra-bang' trundle down the by-ways of wargaming.............

Newsletter July 2005

The summer is up-on us again....and the web site has been up-dated with a few interesting new concepts/designs! First up...we have released the 1/72 scale 1946 German grenadiers for the 1946 Storm of Eagles concept, the first two sets in 28mm scale have also been released this month too!

The first Epoch of the Dead set is now available to buy, the Yobethus warriors are chimera troops of the Lord Ba-et-Mital....Sorry for the quality of the photo's added to the site this month, the painted mini's still haven't arrived back to me in time for the up-date.....

I have asked Chris to attach the Epoch of the Dead concept to the web site as a pdf file, so you can download/print and have a look in to my disturbed mind... (thanks to Matt for the invaluable sumerian legend details).

A few interesting 20mm ideas forming.......Soviet partisans and maybe some more fallschirmjager.....? We'll see eh? The 28mm front will continue to expand, pretty much depending on the market guys..............

Again thanks to everyone who has supported our development over the last few weeks, without it I'd be in prison! Idea of the month......hmmmmmm...been a bit thin on the ground really, but chris asked for Wheelie bins....so I reckon that's it, (?) Although rumours have reached me that Ian isn't going to proceed with any 28mm TQD castings ideas......which is a shame, but that's life!

Till next month, adios amigo's.

Newsletter June 2005

So......Salute is behind us all now, (for those who went)? Gave Stuart Clarke of B/Mins a big hug, (might of put his back out...) and got to catch up with the SOTCW's 'powerhouse and an all round good bloke Rob Rowell. And in to the summer we all go.........we have posted a listings for the up and coming 1/72 scale WWII german winter infantry, we'll add photo's ASAP.

What does the next few months offer in the world of C-P Models? Well were going full steam ahead with our 30mm projects, 1946 Storm of Eagles and 1946 Epoch of the dead will slowly become a reality in miniature form, something dear to our hearts........

Some new stockists/distributers of C-P Models, welcome aboard Andrew of La Scala Wargames and Emilio of Miniaturas Alemany of spain. Hopfully we'll be welcoming aboard Kamrat S.C of Poland in due course? As many of you now know, the licensing deal we were going to pursue with a miniature company in the UK has fallen through, we'd like to apologise for any inconvenience to the parties involved, but for many reasons we could not go forward with the project. But it leaves us free to pursue our own ideas! Thanks guys for the suggestions: I have to say.......Matt........a field brothel in 1/72 scale!!! Well, hmmmmmm, Darren...WWII Hungarian paratroopers wasn't a bad suggestion!

Cheers to everyone who makes this work, cause it does in its own way eh?

Newsletter April 2005

Hi everyone. Busy month this month. Finally the 30mm scale Waffen SS Grenadiers will be available to buy, nine packs to start with. Our 30mm scale StG44 infr-red night scope set will be released too!

We are also releasing the 1/72 scale WWII German Army mechanic set suitable for the Revell FAMO and Dragon BergeTiger/panther.

Unfortunately c-p models will not be available to buy at Salute 2005, our stockist Dave Woodward is unable to attend due to a conflict of interest with the company he 'rent's space from at the show.

I have began work on the 30mm scale 1946 Storm of Eagles(c) miniatures, these will be available to buy around June 2005. The book and rules still do not have arelease date as yet, but once the mini's are released I'll make sure more information is avaialble on the web site about this new product idea.

Idea of the month: Barricade made up of the 1/72 scale movable objects range, comes from John Merritt of 'Sarf' London, cheers John!

A final word about the Yahoo groups site for anyone who has joined: The site is quick way for me to inform you guys what's happening here, new product, photo's ect....but its also a venue for me to let off steam and it isn't always wargame related, in turn its a place you can let off steam too as well as discuss c-p wargames products. Its not to everyones tastes, but I feel it shouldn't be like 'other' sites cause that would be way too....uninteresting?

Thanks again to everyone that makes this 'happen' special thanks to Dave Woodward of ever victorious miniatures and Rob Rowell, who is always there...

Newsletter February 2005

The past and future.... Sorry the web site took so long to up-date ect. Our provider really let us down, the site became inaccesible forcing us to start up a new site with a new URL. The up-shot of this was an opportunity to 're-jig' the site and add make it a bit more 'interesting', well you'll be the judge of that!

Ok some changes. C-P Models will begin releasing 1/72 scale minaitures under the TQD Castings heading. We also plan to release 1/50 scale miniatures too. This is a collaboration between C-P Models existing designer and outside designers such as A. B. C-P Models is also looking to collaborate with other hobby companies in the EU. We hope to bring an improved new level of detail to the hobby in all the subjects we design. More details as and when....

The hobby is changing and we at C-P Models want to be at the front of the pack to ensure our future. Suggestion of the last three months has to be a 1943 Sicillian coastal artillery crew submitted by Duane........Duane....that's civilians waving white flags isn't it!!!

Hugs and cheers to everyone, keep supporting the SOTCW.

Newsletter October 2004

The c-p models web site has been up-dated with a few new photo's, mainly photo's of our last batch of 20mm scale releases, (WH14, 17, 18, 21). Thanks to everyone who made enquires about our exciting 20mm scale furniture range, "movable objects". From this month some of the packs are available to buy, check out the movable objects page for more details. C-P Models has a few new projects in the pipeline, one of them is our branch in to the ever popular 28mm scale market. We plan to release the first sets of C-P Models 28mm scale WWII figures around christmas time, they will known as TQD Castings. Can't release any futher information on this exciting new development, but when everything is ready, I'll let you know! Unfortunately along with most of the 20mm hobby we at c-p models have had to raise our prices, the volatile price of white metal is the main culprit. Many traders oin the UK have had to make this decision, we held out for as long as possible, but the price rise was inevitable! Apoligies to all our customers for this tough but necessary decision. Its going to a busy next 6 months, more 20mm scale volkssturm in the pipeline and more waffen SS! But till then adios everyone!

Newsletter September 2004

I'd like to begin the month with some new releases, so here we go! This month C-P Models is releasing the following sets:

WH6 a panzershreck collection, figures firing and moving. The unique feature of this set is the inclusion of a grenadier equipped with the multi-headed version of the panzershreck!

WH14 takes a walk on the macabre side, or fun depending on your point of view? Its a wehrmacht burial set, includes a priest giving the praty salute, (one mixed up guy)! Hiwi grave digger and grave. It also includes a grave that has a body exposed, this is being eaten by some rats!

This month also sees the release of our five figure 1943-45 Panzer crew, (summer) WH17, three turret figures and two dismounted figures.

WH18 is a collection partly inspired by the film stalingrad, it has two 1943-45 feldgendarmes and dog and two soviet prisoners, the dog is attacking one of the prisoners! I'm sure a Soviet version will follw in the near future?

The next set released in the wehrmacht range is WH19 a six figure 1943-45 summer panzer crew foraging, my personal favourite is the guy holding the chicken and 'roof hare' (read cat) perfect for modellers looking for something 'different'!

The last wehrmacht pack I'm releasing this month is WH21 it contains two zeltbahn tents, (four man tent). It has two versions, one open and and one closed. In the near future I'll release an accompanying set of german infantry at rest.

The Gotterdammerung range of 1945 Battle of Berlin figures begins with the release of DG1 containing a party leader break out party, this includes a volkssturm guide and armed female secretary. I don't want this new range to be a bog standard volkssturm infantry idea, I want to expand the battle beyond the norms we have come to expect from 20mm figure companies....! One of the best suggestions I have had for this range is Berlin Firemen armed with flame'throwers, apparantly a true story, (they were airfield firemen).

I have added a few more photo's to the web site this month too. The Movable objects range now has colour photo's for each packet code, I'm sorry so far their has been no release date for this exciting new 20mm idea, but I will have the range on sale before christmas, I promise!

Added photo's of DB1 and DB7 on the Debica wolves of Anzio list. These were Italian members of the Waffen SS that fought against partisans and the Allies in northern Italy during WWII. Painted by Jons painting service. Jon has also painted the Soviet bomber set on the MCLS page BC3.

Packet code CV5 the popular civilian women set has been expanded to include a woman pushing a parambulator with a small boy, I was never happy with this set being only three figures strong and felt it lacked 'something else', I may expand the other earlier civilian packs as the year goes on, we'll see?

Check out our US Army range 'ikes dogfaces' packs US 1 and 2 now have colour photo's linked, figures again painted by Jons painting service.

The last new photo added this month is BC1 the German bomber crew on the mcls page, this has been painted by both myself and a new 20mm scale painter Jason.

Lastly on the homepage is a photo of a 1943 German General using binoculars, check out the Elhiem 20mm scale resource web page for more information on this limited edition c-p models figure: www.elhiem.com 'bringing 20mm scale to life'! Elhiem is holding a c-p models painting competition, paint a five figure vignette and enter it in the competition, the best wins a £20 voucher for c-p models products! Anyone contacting me with an order for this competition may choose a free figure from our ranges to enhance their vignette! So go on, get entering! Till next month everyone - may think of releasing more volkssturm infantry and a wehrmacht panzerknacker team next month, if I'm asked enough? Thanks to everyone, especially Chris and Attilla!

Newsletter July 2004

A mid-summer up-date for the web site this month. Added a smattering of new photo's to the site. CV7 soviet men and 8 guard and prisoners have been added. WH13 the wehrmacht Company HQ set in glorious colour, (cheers Matt). Photo's of the new 'Black Death' Soviet marine sets have been added, SM 2 five riflemen and 3. five Soviet Marine pioneers, some wearing cammo smocks! The last set of photo's added is of WH15 the Sdkfz250/251 command set, which includes a dog on hind legs. Began adding colour photo's of the 20mm scale furniture available soon in the 'movable objects' range, your feed back on this new idea is gratefully anticipated. Next month I'll post photo's of the US infantry sets US 1 and 2 and BC 3 the Soviet bomber crew, just received them from Jon, cheers Jon. I'll post more movable objects pics next month too, I want them all painted up and on show before I put them on sale.

Big event this month in the 20mm scale world is Matt Hingleys elheim painting's 20mm scale resource web site. This great new site has reviews of 20mm scale products, paint guides and loads of 20mm information. Each month he will hold a painting competition with a prize for the winner, 20mm has needed this kind of site for many years hurrah! for Matt for giving it a twirl, please support him all you can? I myself will be providing a prize for the best use of c-p models figures next month, mix and match any combination of c-p models figures in to a vignette, send it to Matt and see if you win the prize?

What does the future hold for c-p models then? Well check out the 'on the bench page' and have a look at the up and coming WH6 Heer Panzershreck team, the first finnish ski troops and a small farm cart!

Best idea that came to me recently: Brandenburger commando pushing a parambulator loaded with weapons.....funny thing is Tony, the pram has been made, (Rob Rowell our esteemed SOTCW Journals editor has seen it).

Thanks again to everyone that makes c-p models a 'wacky' world to work in,keep posting your messages on the Yahoo groups site, inspires me no end. Catch you all next month, enjoy your hols and feel free to send me dirty postcards!

Newsletter June 2004

A few things this month that may be of interest to you all?

This month we begin the long awaited expansion of the 'stormtrooper' range: WH 5 field Latrine set, WH13 Company HQ collection which includes a radio operator in in a foxhole and WH15 an officer his dog and two riders for a Sdkfz 251/250 half track, they can of course be used dismounted if you wish?!

The Black death range has a couple of additions, SM2 adds five more infantry to the stable, various poses. Sm3 is a pioneer pack incluing a ROK2 flame-thower, pole charge, a sapper prone using wire cutters and a pioneer running with a panzerfaust, suitable for the late war battles.

The civilian range has a couple of new packs, CV7 is a five figure set which includes a Soviet era farmworker, factory worker, drunk, dancing figure and a seated old man reflectively scratching his chin! CV 8 is a unique set of figures depicting four European prisoners suitable for the period 1930-60 They also have a guard, based on the head guard in the Peter Sellers robbery film, (name escapes me for the moment). I feel they can be used for French resistance prison breaks or possible the capture of Moabit jail during the battle for Berlin 1945?

I also got round to releasing the dismounted companion to US 6 (ex-kevins hero tank crew pack) US5 has four 'dismounted' character figures for the kevins hero's idea, they'll also make good command companions for the 'Ike's Dogfaces' range!

The Movable Objects listings has now been added to the site, it's a new-ish idea for 20mm scale and all suggestions or comments are welcome, have a look and e-mail me with your thoughts, better still post them on the Yahoo groups site!

Idea of the month: James requested Ostturkishicher waffen verband der SS praying, stealing private property more like, watch out for my article on this unusual SS unit in the excellent SOTCW Journal, if your not a member, why not!

Dave Woodward of EVM who kindly carries the C-P Models range to shows, ( and up and down the caledonian Road) now has a big colour billboard giving away his' position' at a show, pop by and say Hi, he's a great guy!

The near future: Well I'm working on a pack of Finnish ski-troops, I'll be releasing more wehrmacht sets over the next couple of months and generally fleshing out the existing ranges. I have to say a special thanksthis month to Ian Armstrong 'designer extraordinaire', what a star! Thanks again to everyone that makes this happen, catch yah next month!

Newsletter February 2004

Well it took three years, but I finally added a new bomber/pilot pack to the range this month, BC 5 is five dismounted, (is that the term)? RAF Bomber/fighter pilots 1944-45. You can use them for escape games or to model airfields& Finally WS 6 the MG42 sustained fire pack has also been released this month!

Added some new pictures to the site this month, SOV 3 Red Army casualties, WH 7 and WS 8, added some more photos of our Finnish Infantry range and added some pictures of our two Kreigsmarine packs WH10 and 11 on the Wehrmacht page. Six times five this month, never mind! A year older and a little wiser maybe? Still planning a new range of WWII Volkssturm, but absolutely no idea when they'll be released, so keep bullying me and I'll get them finished and released!

Wacky idea of the month, oh this'll make you larf? 1928 Latvian rifleman!! What the hell are you on Peter, use the Finn's that have M1916 helmets? Hey Rob! Where are the Fallschirmjager StuG and crew gone to? Modelling before real work you know!

Grazzi to everyone who counts, you know who you are, don't you?

Newsletter January 2004

Well that's Christmas over with! I know the releases have been slow over the holiday period, but I'm back on the saddle now, so new packs should start appearing each month as normal? In the next couple of weeks I plan to release WH12 four-man vehicle casualty set, (cheers for that idea Daryl) More 1944-45 Soviets, downed RAF fighter/bomber crew set, WS6 sustained fire MG42/34 set, (hurrah)! And a pack of armed German scientists! Contact us for more details.

I have designed six packs of US infantry, no plans to release them so far; interest has been lukewarm to say the least, more interest in Hungarian policemen! So if you want me to release them, tell me!

Special thanks to Matt and Jon, been a big help painting the display figures for Dave Woodward's trade stand. New pictures will be added to the site as and when they are available.

Lastly before I 'sign off' a real big thanks to the thieving low life that stole a packet of figures from Dave Woodward's trade stand at the last Leeds show of 2003, much appreciated my friend, make our hard work all worth while, I only hope the money you saved went to a worthwhile charity and not towards building up your porno video collection?!

Right that's off my chest, back to work, adios everyone, till next month.

Newsletter November 2003

No new releases this month, but plenty of new pictures on the site, so you guys can see what's been released over the last couple of month in glorious colour! I'm still working on new 1944-45 Soviet infantry and US Infantry 1944-45. I intend to get something new out before Christmas; I'll keep you posted to as and when?

Special thanks this month to Dave Woodward of EVM, he attends the shows carrying c-p models and an outstanding job he does too, cheers Dave!

Calivar books, Essex now stock our figures, as does Alex Ehmke - Modellmanufaktur of Germany. Juha Uusikartano of Finland is now our Scandinavian distributor, more details when he supplies them?

So what's coming next? Check out our on the bench page to see what's keeping me out of trouble! Thanks to everyone, cheers Matt, Jon and Daryl. Next month I'll get some pics on the site of the Soviet dead pack and 1944-45 Berlin Reichstag Banner party!

Oh before I go, sorry for the delay with orders this month, we had a postal strike in London! Before I go the best off the wall idea this month is armed scientists, we shall see?!

Newsletter October 2003

Hi world! Added some new pictures to the site this month, WH8 Kreigsmarine Artillery team, WS14 Waffen SS Battalion HQ pack and a pic of our SS Debica infantry, cheers Matt. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed me about the Kevin's Hero's Sherman and crew, it may inspire me to do some infantry&. Talking of which I have started my US infantry, early days, but they should be released around Christmas?

A reminder to everyone, who attends trade shows, c-p figures can be bought from Dave Woodward's, EVM stand, check out the appropriate c-p web page for more info.

C-P figures now have a distributor in Finland, more details next month. Thanks to everyone who mailed me about the blind link on the 'how to order page' really proved to be a sod to fix, but it's OK now!

Oddest figure suggestion I have received to date goes to Steve.G. He recommends that I start a range of WWII German female policewomen, (in leather of course). I scoffed at Daryl's road crash casualties' idea, but I designed them anyway, so&&& who knows?!

Thanks again to everyone that makes this happen, you know who you are?

Newsletter August 2003

First off I'd like to apologise for not updating this page last month, no excuses, I plain forgot! But the site was up-dated with new pictures. A new feature to the site is a Gallery for your pics, so if you want to see your painting style on the net, submit your pics on the usual e-mail address.

I also added an on the bench page, this will enable me to show you guys what I'm up to and enable you to take a peek at what's gonna be released in the near future, I'll up-date when figs/pics become available?

So what's new this month? Well the panzer hunting SS have arrived along with an SS stretcher-bearer team and a Battalion command pack. I added three new packs to the Wehrmacht list, guards wearing greatcoats and two packs of Kreigsmarine sailors, one pack contains figs wearing pea/leather jackets the second pack wear square rig. The figures are suitable for the 1944-45 channel port battles, 1944-45 Baltic port battles and can be used to represent the KM forces that fought in the Berlin chancellery during spring 1945.

The FJ list now has a Luftwaffe StuG crew; these guys wear panzer uniform and parachute helmets! I have also made a tentative step in to my first Allied range, the first two packs of Soviet Infantry for 1944-45 are out and about. Over time this range will grow, send in your suggestions! I have also released a pack of Soviet marines for the latter half of the war.

The last new release is a pack of five Arabs stealing 'stuff' essential for any North African battlefield tabletop!

I have been asked to design some 1944-45 post- Ardennes offensive US Infantry, I'm a bit lukewarm on the topic, so help me along with some 'new' ideas?! Suggestion of the month, German road-crash victims! Thanks Daryl, I'll kick myself when I design them, I really, really will&

C-P's painting service is now wound up, finished, I really don't have the time anymore to take on private commissions so instead of disappointing customers I'll bow out after 10 years in the 'saddle' and concentrate on c-p full time. Finally after a years wait the 'Kevin's Hero's' Sherman tank and crew can be seen on the web site, you can buy the crew from c-p, but sadly the converted Sherman isn't for sale! Thanks to Rob Rowell, (SOTCW Editor) for a remarkable job.

Until next month everyone, but before I write off I'd like to thank Mike Percy for all his help and support during c-p's first year, cheers mike.

Newsletter May 2003

Keep the Hungarian Infantry ideas coming in, John from Peterborough, (you know who you are) want's military police! Must be having trouble with moral dice throws eh everyone?

Newsletter March 2003

This month we have expanded our WWII German Ranges with the addition of SS Pioneer's, panzer crew and close combat fighters. We have also added a stretcher bearer party to our Fallschirmjager collection and a useful rear echelon set which includes a Red Cross sister and a Kreigsmarine Coastal Artillery team for the Wehrmacht list.

The final pack of our RSI range has been finally released; it's an interesting 8-figure pack of RSI Alpini.

What's coming next? Well we are working on some useful WWII N. African Arabs, thanks for the chamber pot idea Tony! The German Infantry collection will continue to grow, coming up is a panzershreck team for the Waffen SS and a late WWII Fallschirmjager StuG crew! Keep in touch for more details.

As and when new images become available we'll post them on the site, please be patient.

Until next month then, keep the ideas coming in!
